Mickael Sixdenier
I am a PhD candidate in economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, supervised by Kjell G. Salvanes and Elisa Casi-Eberhard. I hold an MSc in Economics from the Paris School of Economics (PSE).
My research studies the dynamics of income and wealth inequality. Using administrative data, I exploit quasi-experimental variation from policy reforms and natural experiments to understand how households respond to changes in their economic environment.
I will be visiting UC Berkeley in the 2026/2027 academic year, sponsored by Emmanuel Saez.
